Community has been rooted in the Work-Bench DNA from day 1 and for years that meant in-person events in NYC. In 2020, we made the quick switch over to Zoom and saw lots of great benefits by opening our arms wider to friends on the West Coast, Canada, Europe, and more.
We’re pumped that in this next chapter of our Work-Bench Community and Events we can get horsepower on both fronts: virtual events that will allow us to reach everyone, everywhere, while bringing back the magic of in-person connections.
If you’re not familiar with Work-Bench’s Community and Events, we’re all about tactics…drilling past the high level strategies you’re familiar with to arm you with the nitty gritty details, templates, and playbooks to conquer all aspects of enterprise startup life. And we plan to keep it that way.
Like many enterprise tech companies do with releasing their product roadmaps to their community, we wanted to release a Work-Bench Community & Events Roadmap to show how you can best engage, learn, and have fun with our community this year:
Currently Virtual, hoping to bring back In-Person in NYC in Q2 The NY Enterprise Tech Meetup is the only forum in New York City that focuses exclusively on enterprise software with 10,000+ members and 100+ events under our belt. We plan to continue hosting these high bar speakers — CEOs, founders, and operators — who can talk about their biggest challenges and triumphs building some of the most renowned enterprise startups in the world.
Virtual This new series is designed to combine the high caliber of operators from our NY Enterprise Tech Meetups with the intimacy and engagement of a roundtable. These events will provide startups with the tactical takeaways, best practices, and templates needed to go-to-market and scale your company successfully as well as provide time to ask questions and engage in a more meaningful discussion most Zoom webinars don’t explore.
→ If you’re an operator at a fast-growth enterprise software company with playbook pages to share, we’d love to hear from you!
#Womenterprise Forum
Virtual This year, we’re expanding our quarterly Women in Enterprise Sales Forums into the world of Developers and Engineering! While we still plan to feature more general content for our 2,000+ women in enterprise software (what we call #womenterprise) community, we’re excited to touch on specialized topics including Developer Marketing, Developer Relations and Community, and more.
Rooftop Party
In-Person in NYC After getting such great feedback from our Fall 2021 Rooftop Party, which connected over 200+ NYC enterprise founders, operators, Fortune 500s, and VCs, our rooftop party is coming back Summer 2022! This will be a night to celebrate (no speakers, no panels, no fireside chats) with our incredible NYC enterprise tech community with some rooftop fun.
From Operator to Angel Bootcamp
Virtual Our new tactical bootcamp sessions will help teach enterprise software operators the ins and outs of angel investing, what to look for and common mistakes to avoid, as more and more startups want to bring on active operators to their cap tables.
→ If you’re an operator looking to angel invest in the early stage enterprise startups or learn how to get involved in the angel investing world, let us know.
Portfolio & Founder Therapy Sessions
Virtual & In-Person We plan to engage our portfolio companies and early stage enterprise founders in new and exciting ways by bring to life a number of tactical sessions with the most open and honest discussions — because sometimes it’s nice to just air out the frustrations only other enterprise founders will understand.
NYC Enterprise Community Summit: This one-day, invite-only summit will take place at Bear Mountain in Hudson, NY and gather ~70 founders and functional leaders for a curated agenda of keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking.
